Major fields of interest of the Branch Library at the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven: The stock includes about XX printmedia, XX journals and magazines as well as various AV- and non-printmedia. The users have free access to many offline CD-ROM databases in the reading hall (single licence). Moreover, the users have free access to many online databases and electronic journals via the State- and University Library Bremerhaven. Recommendation to buy books are most welcome, both from lecturers and students. The books will possibly be purchased by the library on its account as quick as possible. Please do check in advance, if the title is already available in our stock. Excluding dictonaries, loose-leaf editions and CD-ROM Databases it is possible to lend from our stock (for a period of 4 weeks). Moreover, it is possible to renew after this period online via OPAC. Please remember that overrunning the lending time does not only create costs for you, but does exclude your colleagues and fellow students from using the title.
